PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a manufacturing method therefor which can improve performance and reliability as a device, moreover, having a good manufacturing yield. SOLUTION: The display device comprises: a display element 40 provided with a 1st electrode arranged at each pixel, an optical active layer arranged on the 1st electrode of each pixel, and a 2nd electrode common to a plurality of pixels arranged on the optical active layer; a 1st connecting terminal 120 in contact with the 2nd electrode; and a 2nd connecting terminal 130 permitting contact with external equipment for generating a signal necessary for driving the display element 40, and is characterized in that the 1st connecting terminal 120 has a structure different from that of the 2nd connecting terminal 130.
