PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve 1 in which multi-stage pilot injection and main injection with high accuracy can be combined with each other by providing a plurality of valve element part mechanisms parallel with each other. SOLUTION: A pressure control chamber 80 and a control piston 80 with large volumes and large lifts and a pressure control chamber 40 and a control piston 41 with small volumes and small lifts slidably stored in the control piston 81 are disposed in a cylinder 21 of a lower body 20. These pressure control chambers and control pistons are separated from each other by using a plate separator 82 to form an independent pressure control means. Further, a large diameter nozzle needle 92 and a small diameter nozzle needle 42 slidably stored in the nozzle needle 92 are disposed in the needle hole 45 of a nozzle body 48. The injection nozzle 4 with large and small injection holes 93, 43 is coaxially combined with the lower body 20 to realize the combination of a pilot injection characteristic in a minute amount of multi-stage injection control with a main injection characteristic in a large amount of multi-stage injection control.
