摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine of a simple device structure capable of stably performing good retention and discharge of latent heat by a latent heat accumulation material. SOLUTION: A latent heat accumulation device 50 is provided with an accumulation material vessel 60 and a core generation device 70. The core generation device 70 is provided with a long wire 71, a wire drive part 73 driving the wire 71 and a wire holder 77 supporting the wire 71. The wire 71 is stored in the accumulation material vessel 60 and is dipped in latent heat accumulation material LM. The wire drive part 73 drives the wire 71 in the accumulation material vessel 60 by using a motor 73a. When the wire 71 is driven, a surface of the wire 71 is slid by the wire holder 77. Consequently, the latent heat accumulation material LM is removed from the surface, a fresh surface which is not wetted by the latent heat accumulation material LM is exposed to the latent heat accumulation material LM, core generation action by over cooled latent heat accumulation material LM is suitably performed.
