PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive welding wire used for welding cast iron and stainless steel which can increase the cracking resistance of a weld metal. SOLUTION: The welding wire comprises, by weight, 0.1 to 0.8% C, 0.4 to 2.0% Si, 0.4 to 4.0% Mn,≤0.04% P,≤0.03% S, 20.0 to 40.0% Ni, 10.0 to 40.0% Cr, 0.5 to 4.0% Nb, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
