PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the execution of the joyful exercise by effectively utilizing music. SOLUTION: An exercise instrument 1 has a base stand 2, a shaft 4 fixed to the base stand 2, a moving body 10 which carries a driver and can be moved along the shaft 4 corresponding to the action of the driver, and a spring 5 urging the moving body 10 to the center of the shaft 4 in a longitudinal direction, wherein when the moving body 10 is moved periodically, the period is continuously detected by a load sensor and a position sensor, and a speaker 7 outputs the music while the progressing speed of the performance is changed by linking with the period.
