PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect, from a chain 16, hoses 63, 64 connecting a water pump 60 and an oil cooler 70 auxiliarily provided on an internal combustion engine as a cooling device and to accomplish miniaturization of the power unit. SOLUTION: A drive sprocket 45 for outputting drive force of a crank shaft 40 is provided on one side of a crank case 20, the oil cooler 70 for cooling a lubricant is provided on a rear part of the crank case 20, the water pump 60 for circulating cooling water to the oil cooler 70 is provided on one side of the crank case 20 and the oil cooler 70 and the water pump 60 are connected by the hoses 63, 64 to make a structure. An extension part 51 extending to a portion opposed to the hoses 63, 64 of the drive sprocket is provided on a chain guide 50 provided around the chain 16 wound on the drive sprocket 45 and the hoses 63, 64 are protected from the chain 16 by the extension part 51.
