PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a multilayer fiber pressboard which is air permeable, has high surface hardness, has a different density of each layer, and is easy to control its density; and a fiber product. SOLUTION: The multilayer fiber press board having a density of A layer greater than that of B layer is obtained by hot pressing after laminating webs using at least a web (for A layer) comprising 5-80 wt.% of a polyester fiber (A1), and 95-20 wt.% of a heat adhering fiber (A2) having a fiber forming polymer (a) exposed on at least the surface of the heat adhering fiber, the fiber forming polymer (a) having a melting point not less than 40°C lower than a melting point of a polyester which forms the polyester fiber (A1), and a web (for B layer) comprising 30-95 wt.% of a polyester fiber (B1), and 70-5 wt.% of a heat adhering fiber (B2) having a fiber forming polymer (b) exposed on at least the surface of the heat adhering fiber, the fiber forming polymer having a melting point not less than 40°C lower than a melting point of a polyester which forms the polyester fiber and not less than 10°C higher than a melting point of the fiber forming polymer (a).
