<p>A method for multi-media services travel through NAT comprises: the registration step of the terminals in the private network, the step of signaling interaction when the terminals in the private network start calling or they are called by other users , and the step of the media flows interaction, wherein, in the step of the media flows interaction, the terminals in the private network perform media flows interaction with the terminals in the public network through the NAT equipment and the proxy equipment directly. In the method for multi-media services travel through NAT of the present invention, the signaling packets travel through the NAT equipment through the tunnel between the TC equipment and the proxy equipment, the media packets travel through the NAT equipment directly to communicate, the large work that the TC equipment processes the media packets is shunted, so the advancement of performance is obtained, the method uses the performance of the NAT equipment processes the RTP packets, reduces the transmitting delay, improves the service quality, achieves the effect that reduce the serious dependence on the performance of the TC equipment and the tunnel, saves the cost of implementing the scheme, increases the stability of the services and service quality.</p> |
