A mobile communication terminal and a transmission power calculation method thereof are provided to measure the size of a signal at two points of a path that a signal is transceived through the mobile communication terminal and calculate the transmission/reception power of the mobile communication terminal based on the measured size, thereby preventing errors generated due to reflection of signals when calculating the transmission and reception power of the mobile communication terminal. A mobile communication terminal comprises the followings: an antenna(10); a signal processor(20) which separates transmission and reception paths of a signal transceived through the antenna(10) and processes the transceived signal; and a power measurer(30) for calculating transmission or reception power by measuring a signal size at two or more points of the signal processor(20). The signal processor(20) comprises the followings: an amplifier(22) for amplifying the signal transmitted from the mobile communication terminal; and a duplexer(21) for separating a path of a transmission signal amplified in the amplifier(22) from a transmission path of a signal received through the antenna(10). |
