A mobile communication system having a function for transmitting a call connection guide message and a method for providing the guide message are provided to transmit the guide message, for informing a call connection state from origination of a call to connection of the call, to an originating mobile terminal and display the message on a screen thereof, so that a caller can easily grasp a call connection process without putting a mobile communication terminal on the user's ear and accordingly exposure to electromagnetic waves can be minimized. A mobile communication system having a function for transmitting a call connection guide message comprises the followings: a mobile communication terminal(110) which receives the guide message, for guiding a call connection state, through a mobile communication network(120) and outputs the received guide message on a display window thereof; an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(130) which performs call connection of the mobile communication terminal(110) through the mobile communication network(120) and performs a function for interworking with the other network; and a guide message server(150) which generates and transmits the guide message for informing the call connection state during the call connection process through the mobile communication network(120), and outputs the guide message on the display window. |
