A method for sharing a non-volatile memory and a device equipped with an one-chip multimedia platform including multiple memories are provided to secure facility for miniaturizing a portable terminal and/or easily adding additional functions by forming a memory chip and a multimedia platform in one chip through a POP(Package On Package) technology. A multimedia processor(210) sets up or cuts off a path to make a main processor(110) be connected to a NAND flash memory(215) by responding to a path control signal received from the main processing, and reads and processes data from the non-volatile memory by responding to a boot or control command received from the main processor. The first volatile memory(220) is a temporary storage device of the main processor. The second volatile memory(225) is the temporary storage device of the multimedia processor. The non-volatile memory, the multimedia processor, and the first and second volatile memory are formed in one chip. The multimedia processor(210) comprises the first NAND interface(230), a path setting unit(235), the second NAND interface(240), a host interface(172), a processor core(245) and an SD interfaced(174).
