PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-excitated inverter driving circuit with excellent operation efficiency and low cost. SOLUTION: A main inverter part 101 is constituted so that part of output signals is fed back by a resonance loop circuit 102, and performs an inverter operation by oscillating by self-excitation with a frequency near to the resonance frequency determined by a leakage inductor at secondary winding side of a high voltage transformer and a capacitor. The main inverter part 101 is made to suspend the inverter operation in compliance with a suspension period setting signal, by applying the suspension period setting signal generated by a triangular-wave forming circuit 103 and a control part 104.
