<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a golf club head and a face plate capable of improving the joint strength of a joint surface, the yield of manufacturing of the face plate, and the uniformity of the quality and elongating the service life of the golf club head by joining the face plate manufactured of different materials, in especially metal and alloy materials with high strength with the joint surface manufactured of iron-base or nickel-base material by heating and using a roller compression method and by forming the joint surface close and uniform; and effectively improving the interchangeability of welding of the golf club head and the face plate by providing the joint plate with relatively higher welding interchangeability than that of the face plate. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the golf club head and the face plate includes a step for manufacturing the face plate and the joint plate previously, a step for forming a composite face plate by connecting the face plate to the joint plate by heating the face plate and the joint plate and using the method of roller compaction, and a step of manufacturing the golf club head by welding and connecting the joint plate side of the composite face plate to the head body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
