PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device, a character string processing server device and a communications program which can be flexibly adapted for a user's taste and an operating environment when transmitting and receiving text data using linguistic knowledge data which defines a word corresponding to key identification code string which is a collection of key identification codes of input keys. SOLUTION: A communication terminal device 100 concerning this invention is equipped with; a linguistic knowledge data storage section 102 which stores linguistic knowledge data which match one or two or more character strings candidates against key identification code strings; and a data communication section 103 which transmits key identification code strings stored in a key identification code storage area 1073 to the communication network when a predetermined input key is operated. Further, the communication terminal device 100 has an information transmission section which transmits to the communication network, the linguistic knowledge data identification information which identifies the linguistic knowledge data stored in the linguistic knowledge data storage section 102.
