PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorded program reproducing apparatus, a recorded program reproducing method, and a recorded program reproducing program capable of enhancing the ease of use by a user by facilitating viewing of a recorded program within a limited viewable time. SOLUTION: When the user uses numeral keys and UP and DOWN keys of an entry section 101 to enter a view limit time, a CPU 102 calculates a difference between the view limit time and a present time to display viewable view times on a program list menu. Further, the CPU 102 references a video recording program information table 108 to acquire a reproduction time of each recording program, divides the reproduction time by the view time to store the quotient as a reproduction speed to a storage section 104 in cross-reference with each recording program, rearranges the recording programs sequentially in the order of reproduction speeds closer to "1", and displays a program name, a reproduction time, and a double speed on a display section 107 by each program.
