PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of reducing the width dimension (a dimension related to the parallel direction of each sub-connector) of a frame by the wall thickness of a sidewall, since the sidewall conventionally located at a position corresponding to one side is eliminated since one side of the frame is open as a receptacle. SOLUTION: Respective sub-connectors 10 are combined mutually by the locking of a locking projection 21 and a locking recess 22. Respective sub-connectors 10 are successively inserted in the parallel direction through the receptacle 56 that is open on one side of the frame 50 from the state. The sub-connector 10 inserted into the receptacle 56 first hits and is stopped by the end wall of the frame 50, and a lock 17 provided at the sub-connector 10 inserted into the receptacle 56 last is elastically locked to a lock reception 51 of the frame 50, thus holding the respective sub-connectors 10 in a detachment preventive state in the parallel direction to the frame 50.
