PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately print information regarding information recorded inside an optical disk (picture information, character information, etc.), by an easy manner and also without spoiling surroundings. SOLUTION: The information recording/reproducing device 10A is equipped with: a tray 16 whereon the optical disk 14 is placed; a chucking mechanism 56 for holding the optical disk 14 which is placed on the tray 16, to a spindle motor 28; a recording/reproducing section 18 for recording and/or reproducing the information with respect to the optical disk 14 which is held by the spindle motor 28; and a printing section 22 for printing the printed information including the picture or character, to a printable surface 20 of the optical disk 14 placed on the tray 16 while the holding to the spindle motor 28 by the chucking mechanism 56 is released. Then, the printing is carried out by making a printing head 74 of the printing section 22 to two-dimensionally scan relatively with respect to the printable surface 20 of the optical disk 14 by a tray moving mechanism and a printing head moving mechanism.
