PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively efficiently provide a metal component for a magnetic storage device, such as an inertial arm by forming only a main body part and a pin part integrally and adhering a different material to a weight part. SOLUTION: An inertial arm body 12 as a thin plate-like metal material body is a press-formed component for a magnetic storage device having at least one pin part 14 formed projectingly and integrally with the arm body 12, metal material of the arm body 12 is high strength non-magnetic stainless steel, and the pin part 14 is formed by drawing.
