PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic detection unit for accurately performing leak test as an ultrasonic leak tester. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic detection unit 2 used as the ultrasonic leak tester 1 is structured as follows. The detection unit 2 includes a clamp device 20 for fixing an object 4 under inspection at a prescribed position, an ultrasonic transmitter 5 for outputting an ultrasonic wave into the interior of the object 4 fixed by the clamp device 20, and an ultrasonic receiver 6 for receiving an ultrasonic wave leaking from the object 4.
