PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper for gravure printing having high opacity and excellent gravure printing suitability. SOLUTION: The coated paper for gravure printing is provided with one or more coating layers consisting essentially of a pigment and an adhesive on at least one surface of base paper. Calcined kaolinite, calcium trisulfoaluminate having an average particle diameter measured by a sedimentation method within the range of 0.1-1.5μm and kaolinite having≤0.8μm average particle diameter measured by the sedimentation method are contained as a pigment component in the coating layers. The content of each is 5-20 mass%, 1-30 mass% and≥45 mass% in the whole pigment in the coating layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
