PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel microbicidal composition that can develop stably high microbicidal effect for a long period of time in not foaming and aqueous system. SOLUTION: The microbicidal composition comprises polyethylenepolyamine-dimethylamine-epichlorohydrine polycondensate and one or two or more compounds selected from the group consisting of the following (1) to (6) isothiazoline compounds: (1) 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, (2) 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, (3) 2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, (4) 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one, (5) 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and (6) N-butyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one.
