PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage (line) of paper from being generated even when the paper is corrugated in a direction orthogonal to the paper delivery direction to strengthen stiffness of the paper during delivery of the paper. SOLUTION: Rolls 58b and corrugation rolls 60 are separated from each other leaving a predetermined distance and arranged in shafts 58a, and then recessed parts 62 are formed between the rolls 58b and the corrugation rolls 60. Thus, paper P nipped between rolls 56b and the rolls 58b enters the recessed parts 62 and a corrugation effect is enhanced. Since corrugation formed on the paper P is large, the paper P is less subject to traces of the corrugation rolls 60. Since the shafts 58a is supported between the rolls 58b and the corrugation rolls 58a, the size of paper delivery rolls 58 is reduced, compared with a case where the shafts 58a are supported outside the corrugation rolls 60.
