PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot-line printer which eliminates magnetic interference caused during printing. SOLUTION: In this dot-line printer, a plurality of hammer springs constituting a dot hammer, and a plurality of printing pins provided at the leading ends of the hammer springs are provided in one hammer plate. The dot-line printer reciprocates a hammer bank, in which a plurality of hammer blocks composed of the hammer plate are arranged almost perpendicularly to a paper carrying direction, along a printing line by using a shuttle mechanism, and performs the printing by driving a printing hammer in a reciprocation step. The dot hammer can be driven in a time-sharing manner by constituting the five or more dot hammers as one group in one hammer plate. The printing pin adjacent to the arbitrary printing pin in one hammer plate is displaced by at least a predetermined amount with respect to the paper carrying direction, so that any one of the adjacent dot hammers can be prevented from being continuously hit during the printing.
