PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milling tool and a high-feed tip mounted thereon, allowing the mounting of tips with two or more different kinds of applicable conditions of feeding, and providing good positioning accuracy of the tip. SOLUTION: In this milling tool 100, the tip is mounted in one or two or more tip seats 105 formed as a cutout in the outer peripheral part of the forward end of a substantially cylindrical tool body 101. A general purpose tip and at least one kind of high-feed tip different from the general purpose tip in the shape of main cutting blade 6 is mounted on the tip seat 105. The relationship between the width of the reference side surface of the general purpose tip and the width of the reference side surface of the high-feed tip satisfies the expression: 0.5L1≤L2≤0.9L1, and in the milling tool 100, the relationship between an approach angleδ1 of the general purpose tip 1A and an approach angleδ2 of the high-feed tip 1B satisfies the expression:δ1<δ2.
