PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo control device for a spot welding gun capable of sufficiently shortening a period of time required for reaching an inter-chip pressure to a designated pressure (target pressure). SOLUTION: The servo control device for the spot welding gun, which controls the pressure on a work to be held between a pair of gun chips by driving at least one gun chip on the movable side out of the pair of gun chips facing each other in an opposed direction by a servo motor 2, is provided with: a feedback control means 15 for calculating the difference (Fc-F) between the detected pressure F and the command pressure Fc; and a feedforward control means 14 for adding the correction command Vu calculated or provided based on the position command or the speed command to the servo motor 2 to the difference (Fc-F).
