PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide kitchen furniture preferably exhausting smoke or steam generated by a cooking device from an exhaust port with a reduced pressure loss and without direct contact of the smoke or steam to a user in front of the kitchen furniture, and preventing foreign matter from entering the exhaust port when the cooking device is in use or out of use. SOLUTION: A kitchen unit 1 is formed by incorporating a cooker 10 and a cooking devices 12 and 11 into a cabinet 3, the smoke or steam B generated by the cooking devices is exhausted to the outside by an exhausting means 20. The exhausting means includes an exhaust port 22 formed in a cook top 21 and disposed at a position apart from a front surface 29 of the kitchen unit, an exhausting passage for communicating between the exhaust port and the cooking devices, an exhaust port cover 24 for covering the exhaust port so as to be opened or closed, and an exhaust port cover-moving means for vertically moving the exhaust port cover in association with the operation of the cooking devices and opening or closing the exhaust port.
