A method and a device for recovering liner board pieces from old corrugated cardboards by defibering corrugating media are provided to process an increased amount of waste old corrugated cardboards by using a pulper of a predetermined volume to separate liner board pieces from corrugating media and increase recycling of the waste corrugated cardboards. A method for recovering liner board pieces from old corrugated cardboards by defibering corrugating media includes the steps of inserting old corrugated cardboards into a pulper by an amount in the range from 3 to 6% of a volume tone of the pulper and inserting white water(S1), pulverizing the old corrugating cardboards by rotating a rotor of the pulper and disintegrating corrugating media(S2), discharging disintegrated corrugating media containing liner board pieces from a pulper container to a recovering tank(S3), filtering the liner board pieces from the disintegrated corrugating media by a vibration screen or a rotation drum screen(S4), carrying the separated liner board pieces to a compression package unit by a conveyor while evaporating water from the liner board pieces by a blower mounted below the conveyor(S5), inspecting and removing impurities such as plastic or styrofoam pieces when the liner board pieces are carried to the compression package unit by the conveyor(S6), compressing and packing the liner board pieces by a predetermined size by the compression package unit(S7), transferring and inputting the liner board pieces package by pulper(S8), and pumping the corrugating media stored in a chest to the chest of a factory(S9).
