<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head protection airbag device which can smoothly deploy and inflate an inflation shielding part covering the inside of the vehicle of the first and second rows with no occupant seated at the third row even though the airbag is structured to have three inflation shielding parts covering the inside of the vehicle of respective windows. <P>SOLUTION: The head protection airbag device is mounted on the vehicle V having a constitution storing the third seat S3 to be upraised in the vicinity of the inside of the vehicle of the window W3. The airbag 19 is equipped with three inflation shielding parts 27, 28, 29. A recessed part 40 for separation is disposed between the third inflation shielding part 29 and the second inflation shielding part 28. The airbag device is constituted so that when the recessed part 40 for separation is interfered with the seat S3 having the third inflation shielding part 29 to be stored in deploying and inflating of the airbag 19, the lower edge side of the portion between the second inflation shielding part 28 and the third shielding part 29 can be separated not to prevent the second inflation shielding part 28 from being deployed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
