<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of an insect attracting property having a small error concerning evaluation of the insect attracting property, and to acquire a desired action suppression effect by using the method. <P>SOLUTION: In this evaluation method of the insect attracting property of light from a luminaire 2 having a light source 3, evaluation is performed by using a spectral distribution P(λ) of the light source 3, a wavelength characteristic R(λ) of phototaxis of an insect, a standard spectral visual appreciation efficiency V(λ), a spectral apparatus efficiency α(λ), and a converted insect-attracting-property index I' calculated from expression (a) determined from a light flux Eg per unit area on a portion where the insect attracting property is evaluated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
