LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL WITH MICROLENS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a liquid crystal display panel with a microlens even in a liquid crystal display panel having a color filter.

SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel with the microlens includes processes of: preparing the liquid crystal display panel; forming a resin layer 9 comprised of unhardened optical hardening resin on the surface of the first transparent substrate 2 of the liquid crystal display panel; exposure process for radiating light with nature for hardening the resin layer 9 toward a plurality of pixels so as to change an incident angle and partially hardening the resin layer 9 by light transmitted the first picture element 6B and a development process for removing an unhardened part of the resin layer 9 after the exposure process and the exposure process is performed so that a hardened part becomes in the shape of a cylindrical microlens and the maximum thickness of the hardened part equals to the thickness of the resin layer.
