PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic circuit having reduced cost, wherein power rollers can be placed at proper positions. SOLUTION: The hydraulic circuit comprises a toroidal type continuously variable transmission having an input disc, an output disc, and the plurality of power rollers 20 arranged between the input disc and the output disc, an end load cylinder 35, a reaction cylinder 79 for shifting the power rollers 20, a pressure regulator 84 for generating first and second hydraulic pressure in first and second oil chambers 91, 92 of the reaction cylinder 79, a selector valve for supplying higher hydraulic pressure out of the first and second hydraulic pressure to the oil chamber 73 of the end load cylinder 35 to generate end load pressure, and a check valve for supplying higher hydraulic pressure out of the first and second hydraulic pressure to the oil chamber 73 of the end load cylinder 35, not via the selector valve.
