PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus suitable for the manufacture of a polymer film capable of suppressing a problem wherein the polymer film at a hole in which a pin is inserted is broken in a slot state in its width direction in a case that drying or heating treatment is performed using a tenter type feed device when the polymer film, especially a polyimide film is manufactured, and a polymer film manufacturing method using it. SOLUTION: In the polymer manufacturing apparatus having a tenter type processing part wherein the grasping of the end parts of the polymer film in both side end parts in the width direction of the film are constituted of a large number of pin sheets and a large number of pins arranged to the individual pin sheet and the pins are thrust in both side end parts of the film and the film is fed in a state tensioned in the width direction and feed direction of the film, the unevenness is provided to the surface of the pin sheet brought into contact of the thrust film.
