PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an interior material for vehicles which can prevent a skin sheet from entering a clearance line without using a film mold. SOLUTION: Since the hollow drawing vacuum forming of the skin sheet 3 is carried out while aluminum foil 9 is set in the clearance line S between a slide mold 6a and a base mold 6b in a cavity mold 6, the entrance of part of the skin sheet 3 into the clearance line S is prevented. Since the aluminum foil 9 has flexibility to follow a crimped pattern 8, the crimped pattern is transferred surely onto the surface of the skin sheet 3 after the aluminum foil 9 is peeled off.
