PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power controller which is excellent more in power supply and a camera. SOLUTION: This power controller is equipped with a first connection which is connectable with a first battery, a second connection which is connectable with a second battery, a supply means which supplies power to the target of power supply from at least either the first battery connected to the first connection or the second battery connected to the second connection, and a first judging means which judges whether the residual quantity of the first battery has decreased to the residual quantity of the battery at the lower limit where the electric circuit of equipment can be driven sufficiently. The supply means supplies power from the second battery in place of the first battery to the equipment, based on the judgement of the first judging means that the residual quantity of the first battery has dropped to the residual quantity of the battery at the lower limit.
