PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module type switch assembly requiring no blank cap. SOLUTION: Each of operation cells 221 has a guide wall. The switch assembly also has switch actuating members 120 in slide contact with the guide wall and a switch contact carrier 150 formed with pairs of contacts selectively mounted thereon to relate to at least one switch actuating member. Each of the switch actuating members is selectively connected to a key cap 140 relating to the single switch operation cell or to a key cap relating to the plurality of adjacent switch operation cells.
