PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a heat transporting pipe capable of allowing a prescribed amount of working fluid to be charged and sealed in a container of the heat transporting pipe with high accuracy. SOLUTION: An opening portion 13 of the container 11 having an empty pipe conduit 12 is communicated with a noncondensable gas 2 of prescribed pressure P1 lower than atmospheric pressure to fill the pipe conduit 12 with the noncondensable gas 15 of the pressure P1, then the opening portion 13 of the container 11 is communicated with the working fluid 4 under atmospheric pressure, to fill the pipe conduit 12 with the working fluid 16 by pressure difference between the pressure of noncondensable gas 15 in the pipe conduit 12 and the atmospheric air, further the working fluid 16 in the pipe conduit 12 is solidified, then the opening portion 13 of the container 11 is placed under vacuum 6 to eliminate the noncondensable gas 15 in the pipe conduit 12, and the opening portion 13 is closed, thus the heat transporting pipe 10 is manufactured.
