PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper dust removing device for removing paper dust from a continuous paper, while preventing a surface of the continuous paper from being fuzzy. SOLUTION: This paper dust removing device is provided with a roller 11 rotatably provided so as to be brought in contact with the travelling continuous paper P. The roller 11 is formed with eight surfaces by cutting in parallel with a rotary shaft of a cylindrical surface thereof to be brought in contact with the continuous paper P, and these cut surfaces are arranged in the circumferential direction with an equal interval so that a cross sectional shape crossing the rotary shaft projects and recesses in relation to the cylindrical surface along the circumferential direction. The roller 11 thereby vibrates the travelling continuous paper P, and the paper dust floated from the vibrated continuous paper P is separated by an air injection head 13, and the separated paper dust is sucked by an air suction head 14.
