PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide for punch capable of opening punch holes at prescribed portions of paper having less than a prescribed width by positioning the paper at a prescribed position, only if mounted in a device main body, even if a punch device is not changed in design. SOLUTION: In this punch device provided with moving plates 33 and 34 for positioning the paper inserted into a paper insertion port 31 of the device main body 32 at the prescribed position by guiding the paper and a punch means for opening the holes at the prescribed portions of the paper positioned by the moving plates 33 and 34, this guide 1 has guide plates 3 and 4 attachable/detachable to/from the device main body 32. The guide plates 3 and 4 guide the paper narrower than paper guides of the moving plates 33 and 34 to open the holes at prescribed portions of the paper by the punch means.
