A remote controller used for acquiring information on a desired broadcast program at any place and confirming that the recording of the broadcast program can be programmed. The remote controller (110) comprises a broadcast program acquiring section (314) for acquiring electronic broadcast program information by remotely controlling a broadcast receiver (130) for receiving a broadcast signal and recording it, a data acquiring section (318) for acquiring data from another electronic apparatus by radio communication, a recording data creating section (322) for extracting a broadcast program matching the broadcast program name or a keyword in the acquired data from the electronic broadcast program information and creating recording data needed for recording programming of the broadcast receiver, a recording data storage section (326) for storing the recording data, and a recording data transmitting section (328) for transmitting the stored recording data to the broadcast receiver.
