Multi-purpose acoustical and optical alarm device has a housing (1), a battery box (6), an acoustic indicator (2) and optical indicator (8). The contactor (5) is guided by a thread like medium (3) and controlled by the floater (4) with dropping level of liquid or oil to the contacts (7), which then activates the alarm.
