An ashtray structure of an automobile is provided to prohibit an object such as a coin from falling in a gap between a cover and a cover insertion unit by forming a stopper rib at the cover insertion unit of an ashtray housing. An ashtray structure of an automobile installed at a center facer panel of the automobile comprises an ashtray housing(20) having an ashtray(24) and a cigar jack inside; a cover(10) covering an upper end of the ashtray housing, and sliding into a cover insertion unit formed at the ashtray housing; a led rib(12) horizontally crossing a lower surface(10b) of the cover, and protruding by a predetermined height; and a stopper rib(22) formed on one side of the cover insertion unit facing a lower surface of the cover, corresponded to the led rib, and vertically projected by a predetermined height. |
