METHOD FOR REDUCTION LOADING TIME OF DISC IN OPTICAL RECORDER/PLAYER DEVICE

A method for shortening a disc loading time of an optical record/ reproduction device is provided to omit an automatic control process in a reproduction- exclusive region based on automatic control results in record/reproduction/removal regions and thereby reduce the disc loading time. A kind of a loaded disc is judged and signal values of record/reproduction/removal regions for record/reproduction/removal of the judged disc are set(S100). According to the set signal values thereof, automatic control of the record/reproduction/removal regions is performed(S110). Based on resultant values of the automatic control thereof, a signal value of a reproduction- exclusive region is reset(S120). If the signal value of the reproduction-exclusive region is reset, disc information is read in the reproduction-exclusive region(S130,S140).
