A portable device is provided to simplify the structure and to minimize the number of components by removing the necessity of a structure to electrically connect a casing with a coupling part. A portable device comprises the first casing, the second casing, and a coupling part(14). The first casing contains a substrate having the first conductive layer. The second casing contains a substrate having the second conductive layer. The coupling part(14) connects the first casing with the second casing. The first conductive layer is connected electrically to the second conductive layer through the coupling part(14). The first casing comprises a holder to support an LCD unit, and the second casing comprises a substrate(37). The coupling part(14), which connects the first casing with the second casing rotatively, is installed between the first casing and the second casing. The coupling part(14) is composed of a rotary axis(42) installed at the part of the first casing and a bearing(43) installed at the part of the second casing.
