A home appliance control apparatus is provided to increase convenience in using home appliances by installing a support rod having an auxiliary light-emitting part in addition to a main light-emitting part which is fixed to a main body for wireless control, thereby expanding an effective transmission range for radio signals. A home appliance control apparatus(100) comprises a body part(110) and a support rod(120). At an upper part of the body part(110), a function menu part, composed of a plurality of function buttons(111) and a touch screen(112), is formed to enable a user to select functions of an electronic device. At a front part of the body part(110), a light-emitting part(113) that generates infrared signals according to selection operations of the function menu part is installed. The bottom of the support rod(120) is rotatively connected with the body part(110). An auxiliary light-emitting part(121) that generates infrared signals according to selection operations of the function menu part is fixed to the top of the support rod(120). |
