A matrix display device and a noise reduction circuit thereof are provided to prevent erroneous images by maintaining a control signal of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) driving circuit at a normal operation state all the time. A matrix display device includes a rising detecting circuit(21), a counter(27), an initializing circuit(25), a counter enable circuit(26), and an initial state detecting circuit(24). The rising detecting circuit suppresses a noise. The initializing circuit generates an initializing signal for the counter. The counter enable circuit generates a count permission signal for the counter. The initial state detecting circuit detects whether the counter is initialized. When a rising state is detected, the counter begins counting. The initial state detecting circuit generates an initialization detecting signal, from which the noise is removed.
