A protein marker for detecting stomach cancer and a detection kit using the same developed by using a secondary electrophoresis and bioinformatics is provided to be usefully used for detecting the stomach cancer and evaluating the stomach cancer progression degree by identifying the expression amount difference between a normal person and a patient suffering from stomach cancer. The method for screening stomach cancer comprises the steps of: (a) measuring the existence of a stomach cancer diagnosing marker from a sample of a patient, the expression amount thereof or the expression pattern thereof, wherein the marker is at least one selected from the group consisting of leucine-rich alpha-2-glycoprotein(LRG), clusterin, alpha-1-antitrypsin, apolipoprotein A-IV, transthyretin and proapolipoprotein A-I; and (b) analyzing correlation between the measurement result and the stomach cancer progress state such as patients' danger of being attacked by cancer, existence or non-existence of diseases and the stages of diseases through bioinformatics or statistical analysis methods.
