A system and a method for shared payment in EC(Electronic Commerce) are provided to enable users accepting the shared payment to settle a shared portion of purchase price of an article by transmitting an MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service) for requesting the shared payment to the users selected by a member of a homepage. A web server(20) enables shared payers to settle the purchase price of the article with assignment. A homepage manager(40) provides the homepage for displaying information for the shared payment by each member. A settlement server(70) provides an approval result to the web server by approving the settlement for the shared payers by a request of the web server. A member information storing part(30) stores shared payment related information, settlement information, and authentication information of the members. An MMS center(60) generates and transmits a shared settlement request message to each mobile terminal(MA-MD) of the shared payer fixed by a buyer. |
