AN APPARATUS FOR MOVING THE SNORKEL IN CHEMICAL HEATING IN SNORKEL OF REFINING UTILITY

An equipment for moving snorkel of CHIS(Chemical Heating In Snorkel) refining facility is provided to improve facility operating ratio and operation success ratio by horizontally moving the snorkel such that the snorkel is always disposed above porous plugs with good opening conditions and construct the facility economically and efficiently by excluding additional input of facility during opening defects of the plugs. In a CHIS(chemical heating in snorkel) refining facility for raising temperature of molten steel contained in the ladle by comprising: a ladle(35) having a plurality of porous plugs formed on the bottom thereof; a snorkel(101) formed on an arm assembled onto a column(102), wherein the arm is liftable and lowerable such that a lower end of the snorkel is dipped into molten steel contained in the ladle; and an injection lance of which a lower end is disposed within the snorkel, an equipment(100) for moving the snorkel of the CHIS refining facility comprises: a snorkel transfer car(110) which has a plurality of wheel members formed at both sides thereof such that the snorkel transfer car can be reciprocated along guiders(115) formed at both ends of the arm, and onto which an upper part of the snorkel is assembled; and at least one operating member(120) of which an operating front end is connected to one end of the snorkel transfer car to provide an external force capable of reciprocating the snorkel transfer car forward and backward along the guiders.
