FIELD: medical technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus for applying mechanical seam includes two built-up branches and drive mechanism for approaching branch with handle; hollow cylindrical housing and rod secured to housing. Said rod is used for pinching tissue and for fixing on it metallic rectilinear cramps oriented in parallel to branch motion direction. Branches are mounted with possibility of their simultaneous approaching one to other and removing one from other. Drive mechanism for simultaneous approaching of branches is mounted in housing. Each branch supports clamp, rotated stepped eye for fixing ends of clips. Said clamp may rotate around axis of branch and it may fold ends of clips. ^ EFFECT: less than usually traumatic process of suturing injuries due to simultaneously clamping, approaching edges and suturing injury. ^ 2 cl, 9 dwg
