The compound material component (1), especially as a wall or ceiling or roof for building construction, has a number of layers (2) of boards (3) where adjacent boards are in different alignments in the layer structure. Each board is secured at least to its neighboring board by holding pins (6) of a light metal or plastics. The pins, as nails or clips, have spaced ring-shaped projections along the length of their pointed stems with a symmetrical shape e.g. triangular, rectangular or trapezoid. The board edges are locked together by tongues and grooves or profiles. |
